Kindergarten Registration Information

Ø  Kindergarten Registration – If you have not yet registered please stop by the school with proof of date of birth (birth certificate or health card) and proof of residency (this can be a bill with your address on it) as soon as possible.  Accurate registrations are required now to plan for staffing for the 2019-2020 school year.

Ø  Early Years Evaluation - The EYEs will be taking place at Westwood for incoming Kindergarten students from April 16^th, 17^th, 18^th & 23^rd.  Please contact the school office if you have not already booked an appointment time to have the EYE administered with your child.

Ø  Kindergarten Information Session for English and French Immersion students attending Westwood for the 2019-2020 school year, will be held on April 24^th at 6:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.  The information session will also include a presentation by school Occupational Therapist Yvonne Thompson.

Ø  WTK (Welcome to Kindergarten) Program will be held on May 1^st & 2^nd.  The sessions start at 4:30 pm each evening.  Parents will receive further information at the Kindergarten Information Meeting regarding which evening they will be asked to attend.

Ø  Kindergarten Orientation Day for new Kindergarten students 2019-2020 year will be held on May 31^st from 9:15 am – 11:30 am.  Present Kindergarten students will be off that day.
